The Horizontal Assembly Fixture is design to aid in the assembly of cooling panel assemblies to header pipes. Panels are placed in a rack fixture which can be lowered in the assembly fixture. One end of the assembly fixture is adjusted manually for the overall length of the assembly while the other end is capable of applying 20 tons of hydraulic press and is only used to press or squeeze the entire assembly for tack welding.
